We were so proud to be at Greening Taupō Day with thousands of other people, to celebrate all things environmental.

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Liz Brooker as the new Waimarino Environmental Educator at Project Tongariro.

We all know that Shirley Potter and her crew of Wednesday Weeders are a bunch of really good sorts, but it was fantastic to see Hayden Jones and his TV crew recognise that too.

At the start of this year, we awarded the Tongariro Memorial Award to Amelia Sork, Juliette Vicente and Dr Janine Kripner. Congratulations!

Taupō Repair Cafe's first event was a huge success, we are now looking for more volunteers to do it all over again!
