Governance Board 2025

Project Tongariro executive members (from left to right): Pat Taylor, Lesley Mochan, Paul Green, Mike O’Sullivan, Allan McKenzie and Karen Grimwade

At our 40th Anniversary AGM on 17 November 2024, we bid farewell to our chairman, Mike O’Sullivan, and thanked him for his leadership, input, and knowledge during his time in the role.

Special recognition goes to our Treasurer Pat Taylor, who has stepped down after three remarkable years of dedicated service.

Pat Taylor

Pat’s expertise and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in transforming our financial systems. Under her guidance, our organisation evolved from managing a modest turnover of less than $100,000 annually to over $1,000,000 each year!

Lesly Mochan

Her deep knowledge of financial reporting and controls has ensured that we remain transparent, accountable, and equipped to support our growing initiatives. We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and contributions. Thanks Pat for your amazing contribution to our society!

Recognition also goes to Lesley Mochan who has also stepped down after an incredible 8 year. She has played an important role on the board, providing invaluable guidance and tirelessly arranging many of our amazing field trips. We couldn’t have done it without her. Thank you Lesley!

We also warmly welcomed new members Sarah Carter, Catriona Eagles, and Murray Wilson to the team!
