Everyone is invited to come along to the Pukawa Reserve for a fun hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to build a rat trap tunnel.
The workshop will include all materials, a rat trap and instructions on setting your trap safely for $26. You can take the trap and the box home and put in your backyard to help native birds thrive.
Trapping in your backyard has loads of benefits. But most importantly, getting rid of rats makes your garden a safe place for our unique native wildlife to live and feed.
Trip Length: 2 hours
Minimum Age: All ages. (0-10 years must have adult supervision)
Maximum Participants: 30
Meeting Place: Pukawa Reserve, follow the Predator Free Taupō signs
Cost: $26
Participants are asked to bring the following:
Sunscreen
Hat
Please note: the Trip Leader reserves the right to refuse anyone who is insufficiently equipped
Admin and booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If you cancel your trip before 48 hours of the trip date, a refund will be provided (excluding the $6 booking fee). For cancellations within 48 hours of the trip, no refunds are applicable.
