Get ready for a magical adventure at the TAUpō library! We're diving into a world of fantasy and water, sprinkled with a touch of conservation magic.
Moana (in the Disney movie) had a very special relationship with water. What relationship do you have? How can we foster in our children a respect for water in our life?
For our little ones aged 5 and under, we're setting sail with Moana and imagining that she came to Taupō and made friends with Horomatangi, the Taniwha. Join us in the excitement of making a small taniwha stick puppet. All materials supplied.
And for the big kids (those over 5), let your imagination run wild. After hearing the story of Tama and the Taniwha, create a taniwha of your imagination or use a template.
Parents, get ready to embark on this imaginative journey with your little ones, where fantasy, water, and a sprinkle of conservation come together for an enchanting experience at the Taupō Library!
