Make a catcher for bugs from recycled/upcycled materials brought from home (some supplies available on the day) and let's go find a bug to catch in the nearby gardens. Return the bug to its chosen habitat. Take your catcher home and see what you can find in your garden at home or when on holiday. Perhaps you will rid the garden of some pests too.

Participants are asked to bring:
Suitable items no longer in use at home; natural materials such as plastic bottles that will not degrade in sunlight; harakeke, sticks, clean takeaway utensils etc
Closed in comfortable shoes
