Welcome to the fascinating world of NZ forest fungi. Once you have followed a guided sequence to paint an original "vignette" of these unique species, incorporating creative watercolour techniques for a mossy forest floor texture, you'll be able to search during autumn for these little hidden gems with “fresh eyes!”

This workshop is being offered as an artistic way for community members to connect to their local environment and learn about the unique native species of Aotearoa. They are low cost with all materials and expert guidance from local artist Sue Graham provided, thanks to the support of Taupō District Council Creative Communities Scheme.

Suitable for ages 8 years and up.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Minimum Age: 8 years

Max Participants: 12 per session

Meeting Place: Tūrangi Artworks, 10 Te Rangikahekeiwaho Place, Tūrangi 3334

Cost: $16.00 (includes $6.00 booking fee)

Participants are asked to bring a closed water bottle.
