Morning Session - 10am - 12:30pm
"Oh You Pretty Things" is a nature-themed art program centered around the use of watercolors to capture the charming intricacies of the small wonders in nature. Participants will delve into the delicate world of orchids and butterflies. Through watercolor techniques, they will bring to life the beauty and grace of these often overlooked treasures, creating vibrant and captivating artwork that celebrates the little marvels that enrich our natural surroundings.
Afternoon Session - 1:30pm - 4pm
This Nature Art workshop centers on capturing the breathtaking beauty of the Central Plateau through panoramic landscapes. Participants are encouraged to create long-format paintings that emphasize the iconic local landforms, showcasing the stunning natural scenery in and around Tūrangi. This workshop aims to celebrate and preserve the unique landscapes of the region while fostering artistic expression and appreciation for the environment.
